Bulls eyes on Slumdog realities!!

Warner Bros , Fox Searchlight and Hollywood allies are more interested on Indian realities……After the Chinese opium trade stories and Shaolin classics now its turned to be Indian era in Hollywood silver screens. Be it Mira Nair’s Salaam Bombay…or Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire…Aamchi Mumbai’s slums and kamatipuras add more spice and sense for “intellectual entertainment”.

Danny Boyle had everything in his camera that could be called Indian. The charismatic gods and goddesses of  religion called Bollywood.  The rusted trains, the mumbaikar spirit, and the very Indian BPO industry. The very essence of so called integrity of India in terms of caste, creed , ethnicity and class. Soap operas and reality shows are the new faces of mass entertainment, which are blended with emotional roller rides and marketing strategies,.

First time in Indian movies showcased in Hollywood screens the shift in central role and paradigms is on the bizarre fact of  downtown living and life….but the trend was usually focused on the pouty Guajarati and Punjabi business families, love bites and marriage seasonal stories.

The debates aside… Slumdog Millionaire is a great attempt to show a rag to riches story.. An another inspiring saga along with often heard newly carved business tycoons in India Inc. The movie came with a splendid blend of technical and musical creativity. Bollywood one of the high potential industries in the world needs such exposure and appreciation to its fellow guys to bring out the best in the creed.
